I have read that it will but have not personally tried it.

If you are looking for more float from SPD's, which to me, seem to have a little too much float anyway, why not get some speedplay frogs or something?

32 degrees of float!

for about 130 dollars you get the pedals and the cleats, not too bad. I haven't used them myself, I use fixed/no-float cleats on look pedals.

I wouldn't be comfortable with widening the notches on the pedals, but that's just me. You could also completely loosen the tension (that may give you some more also). I did this for a week with my old ones before having to relube and clean, I did get more float.

My feet do move to different angles depending if I'm seated or standing, and for road riding 4 degrees of float is good. Off road is another story. Even though the 4 degrees is enough for my road riding I would like alittle more. My concern was with the release. Depending on how much I grind away, then when my foot moves too far left or right(float)will I release unexpectedly.

that 32deg of float on frogs, is more like 26 degrees of ankle out, and 6 degree of ankle in.
hey, if you're pigeon toed, it will work for you, but duck footed people stay away.

If I need float, I'll use bebop or time ATAC.
