Disable coaster brake-- Sram S7 IG hub
 

Like the title says: is this possible? I've heard wildly varying opinions.

Basically I have an S7 hub on a town bike that I would like to keep, but I do not care for the coaster brake. I am installing long reach calipers, and would like these to be the only brakes, if possible.

I've got a few different ideas on what might work, but I'd like to hear if anyone has attempted this. Bonus points if you've done it on this particular hub. Searches yielded some bites, but nothing on this hub.

I'll be doing an exploratory disassembly on Friday. Will report back.

SRAM does have a tech manual available for download that covers all of their hubs with step by step disassembly instructions if thatwould be of any help. here is a link to the download page if you do not have it already.
