replacing bladed spokes
I broke a rear spoke the other day and am having difficulties finding a single replacement. Is there any reason I can't replace a bladed spoke with a straight spoke?

only about a dozen depending on what wheel system it is. need details: manufacturer, model year, spoke material, etc...

Thanks...it's a "Vuelta" wheel off a bikesdirect Vent Noir. The spoke is 284 mm and has a j bend at the hub.

If you want something similar, get DT new aero spokes - you'll need to know the length. Also don't bump a thread < 24 hours last reply. It's obnoxious.

Operator, thanks for the advice. I actually don't want something similar. I'm having a hard time finding a single replacement bladed spoke, so I'm asking if replacing it with a normal spoke is okay.
