Shimano 105 SLR Caliper Issue-Spring Effect

I've got the above mentioned group, but I am having trouble adjusting the calipers. On a brake pull, both sides clamp, but only 1 side will release back into position. What do I need to do? See Picture. Thanks.

I think I found the problem. On the back of the pull arms, where the spring attaches, I am missing a black spring anchor. So when I pull, the spring slides instead of pushing the pull arm back into position.

Nevermind...it might be part of the problem, but the rear does it too and it has both spring sleeves. It must be a calibration issue that I apparently cannot ration out. Is anybody a brake expert? I think I have a safety pivot brake set that is side pull. How do I adjust the spring so that both pads reposition after a pull?

Fixed It! I would like to thank the administrators of the forum for providing a space for me to think, using words, about the issue I was having. You have made me the Socrates of the modern road bike forums. Please feel free to check out my future posts as I am sure I will again be the only one "thinking." By the way this website provided valuable info for figuring out what I needed to do...I just had to answer the riddle to figure it out. http://www.parktool.com/repair/readhowto.asp?id=22
