Kynar PVDF coating on brake cables?

I was looking for some bulk stainless brake cable, and came across some Jagwire stuff with a yellow Kynar PVDF coating. I'm curious if anyone has experience with it. I know some people don't like Teflon cables because it flakes off--should I be worried about this for the same reason?

I've been using them for several years. They work great. You can really feel the difference especially with the front brake. I did have an issue using some housing though. Some housing with an extra thick liner are too thick for the Jagwire cables to run smooth. But there's no problem with regular Dura Ace housing.

For anyone who reads this thread later, I pulled the trigger and found out that the cables are not, in fact, stainless. According to Jagwire, the Kynar coating is around 10 years old and was replaced with Teflon because the Kynar wore off quickly. On the bright side, Jagwire's sending me a couple new Teflon cables.
