Help: Ksyrium SSC FH change/Axle interface/fit
Hi,
A few weeks ago, I bought a Ksyrium SSC rear wheel for $30. The issue was that it had 2 broken spokes. Still seemed like a great deal to me. (My orignal thought was I could salvage the hub and go from there). Thanks to the mad mechanic/wheelwright skills at my LBS, they replaced the missing/broken spokes, retensioned the wheel and it's now true and round. (Props to them for that, and they had the spokes in stock!)
This is an older one, not the SL w/ machined rim between the nipples. It came with a Shimano FH body. So, as I was changing it to a Campy body, I found a glitch. The drive-side from the original axle wont seat into the bearing on the new FH body. There seems to be a difference in the OD on the axle and the ID on the outer bearing. The body seats nice and snug on the hub (yes, spacer included). I double checked and the axle part seats (w/ a little pressure) into the old FH, but not into the new one.
Now what? Do I need to switch/acquire a newer axel to match the ID of the outer bearing on the FH body? What about swapping outer bearing on the FH to match the axle? Or, did I buy the wrong FH body for that particular Ksyrium? If that's the case, which body do I need to buy to match the axle/bearings?
Thanks, in advance!

Got it figured out... I have an FTS hub, and the Campy body I got is an FTS-L.
