I'm building up a small (47cm) frame road bike for my son. It's still slightly too tall for him, so I was thinking of trying out a set of good 650b wheels I have on the bike to see if I can get the top tube height OK for him for a year or so. I read the Sheldon Brown stuff on drop bolts to correct brake caliper reach and I noticed there was some sort of Campy part that his bike shop was selling, but it's now discontinued. So, I was wondering if anyone here can point me to some documentation on other (decently nice looking...but most importantly- SOUND) solution to correct the brake caliper reach on the bike (rear only..I think I'll use a 650b fork) in a way that will be completely reversible in a year or two when he's ready for 700c wheels on the bike.
and, for the curious, this the project as it sits this afternoon (with 700c wheels on it in the picture)
thanks in advance
