Surly Mr. Whirly

I've been looking at a Surly Mr. Whirly Crank Set. All complete sets appear to come with black crank arms & I was hoping for silver. Due to this I decided to purchase the parts individually. My question is, are the items below everything included in the set & required?

Crank Arm
Bottom Bracket Cups
Spindle
Chainring

Anything else?

I don't quite understand the question, maybe my brain isn't working right yet

From https://surlybikes.com/parts/mr._whirly_crank/ "Armsets are available in silver or black and come with all basic assembly hardware. If you buy an armset you’ll still need a Mr. Whirly spider, bearing set, Mr. Whirly spindle, chainring(s), and hardware to mount the ring(s) to the spider."

Mr. Whirly PDF explains it too. https://www.surlybikes.com/files/Surl...structions.pdf

I clearly see conflicting stories here, and you're right to be confused. The Surly web site says you need to buy the mounting hardware with the armsets, but the pdf clearly states armsets include the hardware.

A call to Surly would clear it up.

For that matter, why not contact Surly directly and get the info from them.

More length choices, more spider choices: https://www.peterwhitecycles.com/carmina.asp
Most parts are silver, not black.
