Finish line chain cleaner kit on a fixed gear?
Either I'm doing something wrong or this chain cleaner is not fixed gear friendly. It seems as though you need some slack in your chain or need to have a multi-speed bike to use it. Either that or I'm doing something wrong. Anybody use this cleaner on their fixed gear?

Clamp-over chain cleaners require a derailleur so you can get the chain to snake around between the 3 rollers. It won't work on a fg bike.
For an fg, my suggestion is to get a masterlinked chain so it's easy to take off the bike. I use 3 jars of mineral spirits, and slosh the chain around in the first one, then the second, then the third to assure that it gets really clean. Hang it to evaporate the excess, clean your chainring/cog, reinstall and re-lube.
