    German bottom bracket

    Hi all!
I have a German city bike, named Excellent. I don't know what kind of bottom bracket cup (the fixed one) it has.
Does anybody know something about German bottom bracket (fixed) cups, whether they have left- or right-hand threaded (fixed) cups?
    Thank you for answering

Is there anything engraved on the cups themselves? English/ISO should say something like 1.37"x24tpi.

If I had to guess I expect it's English threaded as nearly everything is these days. If so, the drive-side (fixed) cup is left-hand threaded.

Sheldon makes no reference to German bikes, but his table of bottom brackets indicates that the French and the Italians were unwise enough to go for a right hand threaded fixed cup, which can loosen in use, and everybody else (including the Swiss) has a left hand threaded fixed cup. My guess would be left hand threaded, but possibly a different diameter and thread pitch from British standard. I don't suppose you can see any threads on that side when you take out the removable cup? Even a couple should let you see which way they're going.
