Why don't bikes rust when left on cement the same way cars and motorcycles do?

Steel bikes rust just like steel cars.

Aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber bikes don't rust -- similar to a car made from the same materials.

There is an oxidative process that occurs with Al, but ... that's another story for another day

My car's been parked on cement for the past 8 years and isn't rusting.
