Brake Hood Compatibility?

I have a set of Dia Compe Aero brake levers with blue hoods on a bike and wanted to replace them with white or purple hoods. Problem is that the only white hoods I can find are $50+ and can't seem to find any purple hoods. Anyone know if any other brands will fit this setup (does not need to be perfect but close would be nice)?

Have you checked eBay? I'd be scouring there.

Had another idea; dye the current blue hoods purple with Rit dye! The only foreseeable issue would be the dye staining the riders hands . If anyone has ever done or heard of anything similar please speak up.

A'me made hoods for those levers in a wide variety of colors. They turn up regularly on eBay. Yellow Jersey used to have some, but it appears they have sold out their stock.

Saw a few A'me brand hoods on ebay but none the color I needed. Amazingly enough A'me has a website and contact info. Gonna give them a call tomorrow.
