Tightening Ergopower Shifters
I have been fiddling with my ergopower shifters (veloce 9 speed) for about a half hour and I'm utterly frustrated. I need to get them on a new bar, and I can't, for the life of me, find the bolt that loosens and tightens them. I looked at the campy documentation and their diagram is thoroughly frustrating a unintelligible. Can anybody shed some light?

Is it the bolt that's removed first in this video?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t0tt...E952CE&index=0

I've had three bikes that I've both stripped and built up, and never, have I ever done something so difficult as prying away these ancient ergopower hoods, tightening the handlebar clamp bolt, and positioning them correctly on the bars all at the same time.
At least now I can say that I've actually used every one of my limbs at the same time while working on a bike. Unbelievable.

The new 2009 levers require a T25 torx screwdriver to do this job. You still insert the screwdriver from the front, but the brake hood makes it tough to get the tip of the driver into the socket. I peel the back edge up, so I can see what I'm doing.
