Disc Brake Help
Alright I found a 8" Hayes rotor to replace the existing 6". Now I need to find the correct adapter. And i'm a little confused.
Heres the rotor: http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/129...#39;'-.htm
Now I need to find an adapter. And help? I have a Haro Extreme X3 and I'm looking to replace the rear disc brake. I'm assuming I can use the same caliper so I don't want a package, I want seperate parts. Thanks
yeah you can just buy the adapter and the rotor. you dont need a new caliper. theyre universal.
Might not work.

If it looks like it will fit, my next call would be to Haro tech support to ask if they know the correct Hayes caliper adapter.
arent hayes rear adapters all the same (besides the difference between 6 and 8 inch). ive never heard of a different type of mount for the rear but i could be wrong
