Brake / Brake Lever compatibility

Anyone know if the Shimano Tiagra BR-4400 caliper and the Shimano BL-R770 Flat Road Bar Brake Lever set are compatible? I've looked online for this question, but to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Awesome, thanks a bunch! Are there any ground rules for matching a brake to a lever? Besides v-brake lever goes with v-brake.

Road levers aren't compatible with v-brakes without a travel agent. Same with disc brakes unless they are road compatible. Flatbar levers sometimes have a switch in the lever itself to convert from v-brake to canti compatible, although the end result is usually still shyte balls.

Thanks a bunch. So it looks like the lever set that i'm eyeballing will work out. Very much appreciate those who responded.
