I had changed my chainring from a 42t to a 46t and had to get a new chain because I wanted a chain for each chain ring. The KMC Z-510HX was on the bike with the 42t chainring. I liked that chain just fine. I went to a couple of the LBS's and all they had was the SRAM PC-1, so I went with the SRAM. Quality seems fine, nickel plated is a bonus. The master link operates a little different than other SRAM or KMC chains I have encountered. The PC-1 has a snap lock plate instead of the sliding plates or clip. Still, easy enough to use. I use my single speed for my 30 mile weekend rides. Chain runs very quiet...No complaints with the SRAM PC-1.
