tire bead jack
I have a 2 piece tire tool, made of grey plastic. It consists of a tire lever and a bead jack that slide
together. About 1" wide x 6" long, so it's packable and light. It makes tight beads easy. It's got
french writeing on it, so I think it might be from VAR. I think I got it from a link on this site.
Can anyone help? I want to buy another.
Thanks

Does it look like the #425 tool pictured here?
They turn up on eBay fairly often; keep your eyes peeled.
I agree; they are probably the nicest tire levers you can find.

The USA sources seem to have dried up. But they are available through SJS Cycles in England. Good bunch - fast shipping:

<EDIT> Oh wow! I didn't know BikeToolsEtc. had these! Nice!
