PUCH Threads
Can I assume that the threads on a 1982 PUCH SLE are english? Both the headset and the bottom bracket need attention. Thanks

I'm not sure you can assume that, but I worked on a 1984 Puch recently, Reynolds 531, smoked chrome finish, very nice bike. English threaded bb, I don't know about the headset.

My 531 frame/fork on my PUCH is English. It was born in 1982. The last SLE I worked on was English also.

What, if anything, is engraved on the current bottom bracket cups?
As for the fork/headset, it doesn't matter if they are English or Italian since the threads can be interchanged.
