Freehub compatibility question

Hi guys - anyone know if a freehub that fits a 10-speed 105 cassette will also fit a 10-speed SRAM Rival cassette?

AFAIK, they are fully compatible, but someone told me there is a difference between a 10speed-only Shimano hub and a 9-10 speed compatible Shimano hub, and only the latter is compatible with SRAM.

TIA,
Vandit

It should fit fine. Sometimes, you need to use the spacer if it came with the cassette.

The 105 cassette requires a 9-10-speed compatible freehub.

Well, my problem is that the particular hub seems to fit a Shimano 105 cassette but doesnt seem to fit the SRAM Rival cassette - is that possible?

It could be that the person who tried to fit the cassette didnt align the Rival cassette properly (he himself admitted that it was the first time he was using Rival and at that point, I made the mistake of not checking for myself).
