Dura Ace 7800 rear hub cassette spacer
I have a wheel with a Shimano Dura Ace 7800 rear hub on it (tall splines) with an Ultegra 6600 (11-23) cassette on it.
However, because of the tall splines, I cannot put the skinny spacer that came with the Ultegra 6600 cassete on the hub.
Because of this, I can't adjust the rear derailleur low limit enough where the rear derailleur doesn't hit the spokes on the rear wheel.
Do I just get one of these?
(generic Shimano spacer)
Or do I need to do something else?
Thanks.

As I understand what you are saying is that you have a 10 speed hub, and want to use a 10 speed cassette. Thus you don't need to use the 1 mm spacer, as that is only when using a 10 speed cassette with 9 speed hubs. If your cage is hitting the spokes, the likely problem is that the hanger is bent on your frame and needs to be realigned

The spacer is not required for the 7800 hub. Is your rear wheel in straight? Is the hanger bent? Is the rim dished?

I have two other wheelsets (Mavic) and they work fine.
I just bought a cheap rear wheel for my trainer, which happened to have a 7800 hub on it. When I put the cassette on the DA7800 hub it's really close to the spokes.
Maybe I should take pictures.

These wheels are brand new. There's really no gap between the spokes an the cassette. On my other wheels (Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR, Mavic Aksium, DT Swiss 240s, there's more of a gap between the spokes and the cassette.

TY, it was cheaper than the Mavic Aksium I have on one bike so figured what the heck? No, don't plan on using the 23
PROBLEM SOLVED:
After swapping the wheels to another bike and realizing the wheel works fine, I figured out the problem; the L limit screw was stuck on one bike. Drop of oil solved it.
