6700 levers with last gen 105 drivetrain

will this work without any other problems?

i have a 10-sp 105 bike now, and i would like to add ultegra 6700 levers without touching anything else (other than new cables). any issues to consider?

a search reveals different brake pull ratios, but still acceptable performance with old style brakes, i'm not concerned with that.

I haven't done the upgrade myself but I don't believe you will encounter any issues with the swap you are proposing based on what I've read.

The 6700 shifters will work with other Shimano 10-speed derailleurs (5600, 6600, 7800 series), except for the 7900 Dura Ace models. I had a 6700 shifters with 6600/7800 derailleurs on my bike for a short time and it all worked perfectly together. I upgraded my derailleurs shortly thereafter to 6700 to complete the build.
