Seatpost length?
How are seatpost's measured for length? namely I am looking Eastons EC90 Zero post in 300mm length, is this from the saddle rail/clamp line like I believe thomson does or is it the length of the post up to the taper (or somewhere in between)? Thanks

Most companies measure the cylindrical section from the bottom to where the top assembly begins.
There's some difference between posts in the height of the saddle rails with respect to where they start measuring, so some posts will yield a bit of extra potential height compared to others of the same nominal length, bit I expect that to be in the range of 10mm or less.
