Dura-Ace seatpost head. Which way?

I took off the seatpost head mechanism (part that clamps to saddle rails) on my Dura-Ace seatpost. Now, I've forgotten which way the head part goes. Does the longer portion face towards the front or back?

the back. its a setback post, meaning the seat is put behind the seattube.
