In 1963 my sister taught me to ride on her girl’s frame (no wonder I shave my legs) Schwinn it was blue and it weighted a billion pounds. – Gone, 2nd bike - a Schwinn Colligate (Gold) 5 speed – Traded in, 3rd bike – 1971 Schwinn Continental (Maro
I also have the Pro stand that I purchased from REI. LOVE IT. I don't know if there is much different besides how the clamp closes and the color.
The pro clamp lets you push the clamp to the bike and then turn a knob to tighten it so it is faster to get a bike on and off the stand. Not a big thing but it adds up if your at a club ride and your trying to get 12+ bikes checked out
The pro came with a bag and it is great for travel the tripod legs work so much better than the bar style legs the Park travel stands have/had.
I think I had a 10% off coupon so went for the Pro at $119.00 the consumer stand is an outstanding value.
