Obsure triathlon GripShifters question.
I have 8-speed Gripshifters, but they seem unwilling to pull (twist?) the correct ratio of cable for my standard Shimano 8-speed cassette. They are definitely 8-speeders (7 clicks)
Could the problem be that they are intended for a Dura Ace 8-speed rear derailleur, and therefore I need to apply the Sheldon Brown alternative cable routing for the 105 RD that is on there now?
Thanks in advance for any advice
Simon

::EDIT:: I just did the cable modification, and it works absolutely perfectly (had to swap out the RD for one with a vertical ´notch´for the cable routing).
Hooray for Saint Sheldon.
