bike stuck in cycleops

Hi, I'm sure this is not the ideal place to post this qiuestion though hopefully less inappropriate than the Commuting forum where I usually hang out.

My question is a bit embarrassing. Isomehow got my bike stuck in my Cycleops trainer. It is seated normally but for some reason the lever that locks it into pace won't dislodge.

I've tried speaying some WD40 on it but that doesn't help.

Anyone else had this happen? How did you free the bike?

If you mean the skewer is stuck in the locking mechanism, just whack it with your hand. Mine has done that a time or two. A good whack works every time.

what's exactly is the "skewer"? if you mean the handle with the ball on the end that locks the bike into place, yes that's exactly it.

i tried pulling with pliers but not whacking it. will give that a whack tonight....
