24.0 clamp on 23.8 bar?

I plan on purchasing the Soma Urban Pursuit hand bars and saw that the bar diameter is 23.8 mm and I'm having trouble finding cross top levers for 23.8. Will a 24.0mm cross lever fit?
Thanks!

Here's the handlebar:

23.8mm is the standard width for road handlebars. I can [almost] guarantee those cross levers are really 23.8mm, but they decided to round up the number, which only confuses folks.

Sort of like front derailleur clamps being listed as 34.9 mm or 35 mm and folks not realizing they are the same thing. However, sometimes 0.2 mm does make a difference as in seatpost sizing.

Well, actually by the time you get to circumference the difference is a bit over .6 mm but I still believe you will be OK in this case, and agree the 24.0 is probably a case of rounding (23.8 is the standard diameter). Why don't you just ask the supplier of the bars?

24.0 and 23.8 are commonly used to describe the same handlebar diameter, for where the shifters and brake levers fit. Interruptor levers are available for 23.8/24.0. Sometimes 26.0 and 31.8 levers can be used with a shim to 24.0. The Salsa levers are like that. Tektro makes interruptor levers in all 3 sizes.

Right. The 24.0 mm clamps are intended to be installed away from the center bulge of the bars. The 26.0 mm and 31.8 mm clamps are installed immediately adjacent to the stem and on the bar center bulge for bars with stem clamps of the same diameter.
