Shimano 105 Clipless pedals - Tension Adjustment problems?

I recently bought Shimano 105 clipless pedals, and Specialized BG shoes. Today was my first ride with them...and I would never go back to platform pedals!!!

I have about ZERO experience with clipless pedals...but I encountered something very strange today. Yesterday, I dialed the tension in about midway tightness (I fiddled with it yesterday) and found the spot that I liked. Both pedals clicked when I dialed the tension. After a 20 mile ride today, I re-adjusted a bit, and found the right pedal no longer clicks when I adjust the tension. The left pedal still clicks. I unclip with my right foot for stop signs/lights/etc. Is this the start of a problem? Should I send the pedal back to Shimano? Could it spell a future unclipping problem?

I really appreciate any help for a newbie!!!
