SRAM MTB Shifters with SRAM Rival Derailleurs?

I have heard of people trying to use SRAM Double-Tap shifters with SRAM MTB derailleurs, but I am wondering about the other way around...
Are there any SRAM MTB shifters that are compatible with the SRAM road (Rival, Force, Red) group derailleurs?

SRAM XX shifters are compatible with road rear derailleurs. Up to now, their other MTB shifters were not compatible (slightly different cable pull). However, I haven't heard whether their new 10-speed stuff is now compatible, like XX is, or not.
