CR18 Rims and Tyre Compatability

From what I have read on the Forum, my understanding is that my CR 18 rims 559x22mm will take a 26x1.5 tyre like the Schwalbe Marathon 26"

Is this correct?

Thanks!

minimum 28mm, or 1.125
maximum is about 50mm or 1.9"

it's actually an 18mm rim, which is what the "18" stands for.

I run 26x2.1 Panaracer Fire XC Pro's on my CR-18's. Have for 7 years without fault...and I have weighed over 200 for all 7 years.

26x1.5" should be fine.

They are great rims. Strong as hell and stay true. I will be finding some to put on my Sirrus this winter, since they make them in 700c as well
