I really am impressed with those Tektros, but they're the first dual pivot brakes I've tried. Mine have a different type of quick release than the ones they make now. They look just like Shimanos. Maybe they had to change them for that reason.
They're actually rear brakes from 2 different sets that I had to adapt to a frame designed for nutted brakes
