Sugino Crank Removal
Hi all,
Did the search but no luck. I am getting ready to replace the crankset on an 09 Specialized Allez Triple, which is currently a five arm, polished Sugino and a sealed cartridge square tapered bottom bracket. Replacing it with a SRAM Rival with GXP bottom bracket.
I am trying to figure out what type of crank puller I would need to remove the Sugino crank. I was looking at the crank arm and I cannot figure out if it is a self extracting bolt or not. And the type of bottom bracket removal tool if it is BBT-22 or BBT-18. What kills me is that I cannot look at the BB until I remove the cranks. I just want to buy the right tools at one time on one trip and do it right the first time and learn to wrench my own bike.
TIA

If you want to remove the bottom bracket cups, you need the BBT-22: https://parktool.com/products/detail....&item=BBT%2D22
