Ok my current FSA large chainring is in bad shape. One too many broken tooth. So am in need of a replacement. There is a local person selling a Campy double for 10spd. Would it work for me? I find it kinda odd because everything else is Shimano part. Then again FSA is not Shimano either.

Run with it. As long as everything is in good shape you shouldn't have a problem. However the BB will have to be changed out to a Campy/ISO BB of the correct length. Do the Campy Cranks come with a BB? If not it might be better to get something else or even just find a new chain ring for the FSA crank.

The spacing between the adjacent chainrings is the only consideration and Shimano, Campy, FSA etc. all have similar enough spacing that shifting should be fine if you substitute the Campy for the FSA. In fact, most 9-speed cranks function perfectly with 10-speed everything else.
The only constraint is what canopus mentioned, does the Campy crank come with a bottom bracket? If it's a new Ultra Torque external bb, the cups are very cheap. If it's an older square taper you will need the appropriate Campy/ISO bottom bracket and keep in mind, the last generation Record/Chorus square taper cranks used a different spindle length and symmetry than Centaur and below.
I put a Chorus 10sp onto a 1970s Zeus square taper BB and it works just fine. It may just be that I don't really know any better. It shifts great, no noise, and I use a Shimano 10sp chain and cassette.
