    derailluer cable in brake housing?

I bought Jagwire brake and derailleur cables and 10 ft of Jagwire brake cable housing. Then I realized brake and derailleur cables are different thickness. Can I use brake housing for derailleur cable? Will this effect shifting performance?

If the housing you bought is the one with the longitudinal wires and kevalr winding to hold it all together then yes you can use it for the shifter as well with no issues. But if it's the less expensive Jagwire housing that is spirally wound under the black outer cover then no. It's too compresive and will mess up the shifting.
    Model airplanes are cool too!.....
