    Road Barcons with Mountain FD

    Will a Shimano road bike barcon have enough total cable pull to run a Shimano mountain front derailleur on a mountain triple crankset?

    Just did it with a DA 9spd barend and XT FD--works fine. BTW I switched from brifters to get my FD shifting 'right'.
