Question on rear derailleur/front shifter compatibility.

    Hi,
Wanted to see if I could install this trigger shifter:

    http://www.rei.com/product/793371?pr...099-_-10456937

on my bike which has this rear unit:

    http://store.icyclesusa.com/sunrace-...ur-p27021.aspx

I googled this sunrace m90 and found this:

    http://www.disraeligears.co.uk/Site/...erailleur.html

There is no word on actuation ratio, which I understand has to match up. Anybody ever work on this?

That Sunrace RD is probably compatible with Shimano shifters and SRAM "Attack" shifters, but not the SRAM X.7 that you linked to.

Thanks, Chris W. I did some further digging and found this rear derailleur on the sunrace website:

    http://www.sunrace.com/en/products/detail/m90?sku=RDM90

Although my rear unit says "Juju" on it, I think it's virtually the same. Probably a more recent year model. It confirms the 2:1 ratio that is compatible with the Attack shifters. Thanks, again.
