Double tap front shifting

My front 105 shifter requires two "clicks" to shift up and down. In other words, I have to push the lever all the way over, let go of it, then push it again in order for it to shift from my small to big chainring, and also when I'm down shifting.

Anyone else have this problem and do you know how to fix it?

Thanks
Max

Max, It reads like you have a triple shifter in use as a double shifter. Same thing happened to me. Loosen the FD cable clamp, set the shifter to the first trim click and reattach the FD cable. You'll be able to switch chainrings with one sweep in or out and have trim for the inner chainring.
