Pro Max Caliper Brakes
 

I'm looking to get long pull brakes (need to be at least 65mm max reach) for a good value and I ran across these. I don't want something garbage that won't brake well though.
Anyone have any experience/opinion on these brakes:

They're garbage and won't brake well. The pads are made with seemingly inferior compound compared even to Sora brakes. Not to mention the bolt holding the pads in place.

Those are solid, but I think these are basically the same for cheaper: http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...1_10000_200360

edit: Actually the reach is considerably shorter on the nashbar ones I linked. I have used them in the past for 27" to 700c conversions without an issue though. Do you need ~70mm of reach?

Put Kool Stop Salmon compound pads on instead of the stock ones
and Braking will Improve..

Actually yeah, that's a pretty good idea. I'd just do that.
