Replacing FSA 9spd middle chainring with 10spd one

Hi All, I did a search and could not find a diffinitive answer to this.

Here's my problem: I left the chain on my commuter too long and I have slightly worn out the chainring (slight shark toothing present and a slight creaking when pedaling). I have already replaced the cassette and chain. It appears FSA no longer sells 9sd 39t middle chainrings. My question is: Will this one work instead? And if so is there a difference in distance from the outer chainring, meaning, will I need to use spacers between them? Thanks in advance!!

probably., The teeth may be slightly thinner but still 1/2" pitch.
any 130 BCD chainring will do, even one for a double
shifting pins are a convenience not a nessesity..

You Might even find one of Surly's Stainless ones OK seem to be in 42t at present,http://www.bikeman.com/CR0063.html, You might even find a steel spare for a cheap Shimano 130 triple in that 39t.. steel will outwear aluminum..

My Ultegra 6700 works for both 9 & 10 spd chain. And I bet it would too for 8 spds.
