Hitch Headaches

I am moving this post from the Utility to the Mechanics section.
I received a great recommendation on a 10 mm ball joint from Gareth.
However, still need help with how to attach this joint to my setup.

The problem: can't find the best solution to attach the tow arm to a Burley hitch.
I am converting a kids trailer into a cargo trailer.
I have a Breezer Citizen with the dropouts connected to the large bolt for the 3 speed internal hub.
The trailer had one of those screw clamps that did not fit.
I bought the Burley Classic hitch (and would like to stick with this, if possible).
The trailer towbar just has a spring on the end (after removing the clamp).
I have attached the loop end of the spring to the bolt going through the Burley hitch.
Photo attached.
This will not be strong enough.
The bolt on the dropouts is in the way-so can't insert the tow arm tube-needs to be some sort of extension.
Does anyone have an easy solution with some part that can attach from the Burley hitch to the tow arm?

Wow-looks like that is what I need.
I'll order one and give it a shot.
Trying to think if I can find some sort of quick release bolt.
