Seat post water deflector

Hi guys,

It seems (once upon a time) I heard about a device that can be put on a seat post to deflect water. As I recall, it's sort of like an upside-down funnel. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.... Old Hammer Boy...

Mountain or road bike?

there are quickly mounted mudguards quick to go on and off for race or training .
and there are permanantly mounted mudguards. for using your bike as transportation.

fender is the piece of fairing that covers the wheel to keep mud and water away from places you don't want it.
mud guard or mud flap is the piece that goes on the fender to extend the reach and protection of the fender.

good explanation.
thanks.
I thought a fender was like a mud guard that covers most of the wheel.

Fender is also what you tie over the side of the boat
to keep it from banging directly into the pier.

There was one particular seatpost mounted mud guard that used to be available that had a slightly funnel-like shape - I think it was called the Wolf Tail. I have not seen these sold for years. The closet thing I have seen in a long time is the T.H.E. fenders...
