How important is bottom bracket sizing?

My bike needs a new bottom bracket. From the manufacturer, I need a 68x108mm BB.

68x110 is a little cheaper, and I don't think it would be too different, might have to make some adjustments to the front derailleur, but it wouldn't be that bad. eh?

Assuming your BB is not asymetrical, you will only be moving your chainline 1mm (the other 1mm will be on the NDS) which isn't much.
