Which headsets fit a Cannondale Trail SL 5 ?
 

Good evening,

I purchased a Cannondale Trail SL5 (2010) and it came with a standared "Cane Creek" headset, unfortunately my suspension was stolen along with most of the headset. I am looking to purchase a new one but no one can tell me what headset I need. I have tried the "headset finder" on the cane creek website and it did not find any headset that fits my headtube. Please could you tell me which headset is fitted to a Cannondale Trail SL5 (2010) or tell me which headset I need. It does not have to be cane creek just a headset that fits.

See any Cannondale dealer in your area. But it looks to be a 1 1/4" external bearing head set from Cannondales web site..

It says 1.5" steerer. I want to fit a standard 1 1/8 steerer. I just removed the two ends and measured the diametre and both ends of the headtue have a inside diametre of 49mm and I think I need a reduing headset. Would that one still work ?

Anyone know ? ... Please :)
