Do Shimano 7801 chain pins work with 7900 chains?

Vendor's website states that the Shimano CN 7801 chain pin is the pin the use with a Shimano Dura Ace CN 7900 chain. Can anyone confirm that the website is correct?

Thanks.

Use a Whipperman connex 10spd link. No more pins.

Or a SRAM link, or a Superlink, or a KMC link, or an IRD link.

According to DaveSSS's crib sheet, the Wippermann , Superlink #3 and KMC links will work with Shimano 10-speed chains but the SRAM is a bit too narrow.
