Kool Stop Eagle 2

Does anybody currently using the Eagle 2 Salmon pads have a picture of how it should look when they're installed? I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out the orientation, and a visual reference would be great.

Thanks!

the claw end is the leading edge, to clear debris from the rim wheel rotation wise,
so it points towards the back of the bike. the long end of the shoe points back

The mounting bolt is moved forward to better resist the toe out twisting force imposed by the forward moving rim. They're often called long-tailed shoes and as the name implies the tail is in the back with respect to the bike.

The little wedge molded into the back is an assist to establishing correct toe-in when installing and will rapidly wear off, though it may squeal a bit until it does so. Before Kool-Stop molded the wedge in, they used to suggest a using a piece of cardboard as a toe-in guide.
