Bontrager crankset BB cups....

I see a lot of Bontrager cranksets for sale on eBay and elsewhere.
Almost none have the BB cups to go on the BB shell.

I bought one crankset, and it came with them.
I bought another, Race Light triple, and it did not.

Are these cups available, or am I SOL? (Shoot, Outa Luck)

Thanks.

I think bontrager uses GXP, which means you need a truvativ/SRAM BB.
I'm not 100% sure.

that is what you get for buying trek trash

Treks may suck hard, but that is a regular GXP bottom bracket, as has been said.

Thanks for the advice.

Bontager may be trash to some, but when you're trying to build a friend's daughter a bike for Christmas, you do what you can.

I didn't realize I was so close to the Road Forum.

Picked up some GXP, and thanks, folks.

just remember to use both spacers when installing on a 68mm BB shell.

And you'd be wrong.

no, I'm quite correct.

68mm BB shell required both BB spacers on the GXP to be used with a truvativ triple. Otherwise the taller stepped portion of the axle won't rest on the BB properly, would leave a bad chainline and a rather large gap between the crank and BB on the drive side.
