SLR Aero Brake Levers w/stock calipers
I have a set of Shimano Exage Sport (BL-A451) SLR Aero Brake Levers someone gave me and am thinking about using them on my Fuji S12-S, will these SLR brake levers work ok with my stock Dia Compe sidepull calipers? The aeros fit my hands much better than the stock Dia Compe levers.

Thank you, yes I'm going through the whole bike during these drizzling days here in Washington, replacing all cables, bearings etc...not that it needs all this done, but this is my first time tearing a road bike down and rebuilding it. I'm loving it and it's a great learning experience, not to mention a lot of fun.

Years ago I made the same change on an mid-80's Bridgestone. The new aero levers worked even better than the OEM exposed cable levers and gave me more a comfortable place to rest my hands.

echo2011, In my experiance the Shimano aero brake levers are excellant replacement option. If your handlebar isn't grooved for the cable housing, route it along the bottom of the bar would be my only tip.
