Disk brake adapter hell
I have a shimano xtr international standard mount caliper and a reba xx post mount fork.
I am trying to mount the caliper on a 160mm rotor and I have been having a hell of a time trying to find an adapter to make it fit. The hayes adapter forces you to use a 180mm rotor which is too large for my preferences. Does anybody know of a adapter that will work on a 160mm rotor without having to machine my own?

Isn't post mount direct, ? bolt bosses on the back of the fork blade ,
rather than ISO which has the mounting points on the side?
as usual .. if words fail send pictures .

I guess going with a 170mm would be an adequate way to 'split the baby'. As far as I know most vendors are out of stock on high end 180mm disks. Maybe I will have better luck with 170's

If you have a caliper that fits onto a Hayes adapter then you don't need ANY adpapter. Post mount forks are intended to accept the caliper directly with no adapter and work with 160mm rotors when mounted this way.
This assumes that the XTR caliper comes with an IS mount that the caliper actually screws into. Some Shimano calipers are IS only with IS ears instead of Hayes style mounts.
