Can't find "buble gum pink' 700c rims in 36 HOLE! Need brake surface.

I can find all kinds of buys in 32 hole, but this is to go on an internally geared 36 hole hub.

Email velocity (at) velocityusa.com. Maybe they have something for you. They can occasionally accommodate custom drillings as well.

+1 Velocity... they have colours and drilling options covered more comprehensively than anyone else I know of.

I've even seen penny-farthings wearing AeroHeads.

Yep I called them. They gave me a part number and said they had one in stock even though nowhere online did I find this exact rim. I had my LBS order it for me as Velocity is strictly wholesale.

You can also have a local powder-coater do it for about 50-70 bucks a set. There are probably a dozen powder coaters here in the South Bay of SF Bay Area doing small jobs constantly - especially for the single speed crowd.

Grab a set or rims in silver or anodized and hand 'em over to someone willing ot do it.
