Dura Ace FD 7400 or FD 7410?

I have a Dura Ace 7400 6 speed group with the Shimano Index Shifters. The front derailleur is a 7400 clamp on. I am getting a 1995 Trek 5500 OCLV frame that has a mount for a braze on front derailleur.
My question is will a DA 7410 front derailleur work with a 6 speed rear casette? There seems to be a lot more of these available on E-Bay than the 7400's!

It's friction right? It won't matter?

You will also need a rear wheel with 130mm axle length between the dropouts as well. Do not pinch the frame in mounting the old wheel to t5he new frame.

I had a similar question about the difference. Is there any performance differences other than one has a clamp and another is a braze on. Both are friction anyways.

Or you could just space out the current axle to 130mm If the original axle isn't long enough it can be easily replaced.
